Artist’s Note

This study examines the structural intelligence of the original masterwork. Here I explore the relationship between weight, rhythm, and heroic proportion, focusing on the anatomical decision-making that shaped the original form. Reconstructing this piece taught me the logic of the planes, how the mass turns through space, and the sculptural strategies hidden beneath the surface. This work strengthened my ability to read form from all angles and deepened my understanding of classical anatomy.
